This 1000 door system is fully integrated to control external gates, doors, locker security and lighting. Clients badge their tag on the reader which in turn releases the door, turns on the lights, deactivates the main security alarm on their level and turns off the security inside their individual storage locker. When leaving the premises, a single badge re-activates the security system and turns off the lights leaving the facility secure and minimising power usage.

PABX and Audio Visual System

A PABX phone system was installed to allow calls to be transferred around the facility and the manager was supplied with a long range cordless phone to allow him to receive calls up to 1km away from the office. An Audio Visual system and 50" plasma screen were installed in the bar allowing live broadcast of sports games and distribution of music in the dining area.

This commercial audio system features both 100v line and conventional power amps driven from a bar head-end with band and DJ input facility.

An Audio Visual System was installed to allow service to be broadcast via a wireless microphone over the in-wall chapel speakers. A small surveillance camera was installed and connected to a DVD recorder along with the microphone to allow services to be recorded in real time to use in training exercises.

An Access Control and Intruder Alarm System allows and restricts access to staff members depending on their authority level. The proximity tags have been integrated with the main building system to allow seamless access around the facility. The audio system distributes music from a central CD player, radio tuner, DVD player and iPod to the reception, boardroom, deck and staff room. Sky and DVD is distributed to the staff room plasma to allow staff to catch up on the latest news at lunch time and listen to the music channel over a game of pool at company celebrations.

A specially designed short throw projector is mounted only a few inches away from the projection screen and projects presentations onto a motorised tab tensioned screen. The short throw project was required to allow the Managing Director to maintain his custom designed feature lighting pendant over the boardroom table without having to mount a projector behind it which would have blocked out the projected image.

Visitor Intercom System

A Farfisa Digital Video Intercom System was retro-fitted into this existing iconic 18-level apartment building in Herne Bay allowing simplified visitor communication. When the visitor is granted remote access to the building, the intercom system sends the lift to the ground level and allows it to only travel to the nominated floor.
